Fort Myers Brewing is bringing you our first ever Food Truck Beer Dinner. We've partnered with 3 local food trucks (The Nosh Truck, Wicked Streatery, and Rollin' Raw Bar) to deliver a delicious 6 course pairing menu.
Event Details
THE MENU:
1st Course: Fried Oyster Kung Pao Over Asian Style Slaw, Passionfruit Vinaigrette, Toasted Cashews
Beer Pairing: Fairway Finder Session IPA – Light citrus and passionfruit flavors from the Grungeist hops used in this IPA will balance the acidity of the vinaigrette and complement the flavor of the oysters and cashews.
2nd Course: Duck Confit, Baby Frisée, Almond Florentine Brittle, Fried Grit Croutons, Cherry-Balsamic
Beer Pairing: Belgian Quad – Strong Belgian style ale with hearty and complex dark fruit notes that will meld well with the fattiness of the duck and the complexity of cherry balsamic.
3rd Course: Tuna Poke Micro Tacos
Beer Pairing: Nevah’ Evah NE IPA – Citra and Grungeist hops provide a nice juicy and citrusy NE IPA that will balance nicely with this dish on the pallet, with a bitterness and alcohol content to accentuate the heat in the Poke.
4th Course: Stout Braised Short Rib, Mushroom-Goat Cheese Spring Roll, Micro Herb Salad
Beer Pairing: Smoked Baltic Porter - Sweet, malty and full bodied with a smooth, aged alcohol warmth and subtle smoke character that will complement the rich braised beef and earthy mushroom flavors.
5th Course: Honey Glazed Pork Belly, Roasted Corn And Avocado, Chorizo-Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms, Serrano-Cilantro Crema
Beer Pairing: Ancho Vanilla Brown Ale – Subtle sweetness and heat blend with roasted, earthy grain flavors to compliment the sweet and savory pork flavors while slightly accentuating the spice notes in the dish.
6th Course: Bubblin’ Crude Parfait, Bubblin’ Crude Soaked Sponge Cake, Vanilla Bean Semifreddo, White Chocolate Pearl's and Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean
Beer Pairing: Somebody Else’s Dream Chocolate Stout – Without a doubt the perfect crescendo to the meal. Decadent layers of rich chocolate seamlessly meld with subtle wisps of roasted barley and espresso to perfectly highlight the rich cocoa and coffee flavors of this dessert.
