Join us for the 41st Annual Edison Ford Holiday Nights opening night on November 25! The night will feature the Edison, Fords and Santa Claus! Doug MacGregor will be back and cartooning with kids and the Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers will sing Christmas carols! The Annual Tree Lighting will be at 6:00 p.m.
The homes and gardens of the Edison and Ford families will be seasonally decorated with thousands of lights and historic decorations. If you want to see the decorations up close, take a Holiday Nights Inside-the-Homes Tour, offered on November 29, December 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 6:30 p.m. (additional charge). Contact Darlene Hermey, Membership Coordinator, at 239-334-7419 to reserve your tour early, as space is limited and these tours fill up quickly.
Nightly Guided Holiday Tradition Tours take place at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. and are available for an additional charge. The Edison Ford Museum and Laboratory are open nightly, as well as the Ford Holiday Cottage Shoppe, Museum Store and Garden Shoppe for many Florida-themed gifts. Hot and cold refreshments, BBQ, beer and wine will be available for purchase in the Banyan Refreshment Area. Enjoy waterfront dining at Pinchers with a fantastic view of the Caloosahatchee. Take one of the daily river cruises with Pure Florida on the M/V Edison Explorer or enjoy a sunset cruise that departs an hour before sunset.
This “must see” Southwest Florida holiday tradition attracts visitors from all around the globe. Many seasonal residents and visitors come back year after year to see this magical site.
