The second oldest house in Collier County and one of the few remaining tabby-built buildings in Florida, this historic Vernacular style house has walls made of tabbie mortar and was built for Henry Watterson, the famous editor of the Louisville Courier-Journal. The house is listed on the State Register of Historic Sites, as well as the National Register of Historic Places.
