Description
Mangino's Pizzeria expanded to Naples, Florida in 2006. It’s hearty menu of homestyle cooked Italian specialties, pizza and pastas are the cornerstone of the brand’s success. Its original location in New Castle, Pennsylvania had many years of success with a loyal customer base that also followed them to their recent expansion into the winter playground of Naples, Florida. The Naples address is the their first restaurant to offer the new interior and brand design that will become the blueprint for it’s expansion into other locations. The Naples restaurant may not look the same as the original Mangino's Pizzeria located in New Castle, Pennsylvania, but it's menu remains consistent in both locations with recipes that are real, hearty and deliciously satisfying. Both locations have a core philosophy of treating and cooking food for customers, as if they were family.
It all started with humble beginnings: the Mangino's came to this country during the Great Depression when food supplies were rationed and jobs were tough to come by. But, tough times teach great lessons. The family persevered in the belief of hard work, welcoming smiles and dedication. Charles Sr. began it all in a small railroad town called New Castle, Pennsylvania located between Pittsburgh and Youngstown, Ohio. Charles started in the food business in 1952 and purchased a 120 year old building to start the S & C Food Mart. It seemed like a fitting town to build his dream marketplace and start their family.
