You are your own best defense. Join us for one of our S.A.F.E. Women classes as we introduce a few basic self-defense moves that every woman, no matter her age, should know.

The goal of S.A.F.E. is to educate women about realistic options that will help them avoid...escape...and survive assualts if they do occur.
S.A.F.E. is an unparalleled educational awareness and interactive crime prevention program providing women with information that may reduce their risk of exposure to violence and introduces them to the physical aspects of self-defense.

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be at least 13 years of age to take this class. Anyone between 13 and 17 years of age must be accompanied by mom or an adult female guardian.
Do you offer classes that focus on the concerns of young girls?
We have special Mother/Daugher classes that touch on the special circumstances our teenage girls may find themselves in. These classes are held during the week between 6 pm and 8 pm. Tickets may be reserved on Eventbrite.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is plenty of parking in the front parking lot of the Lee County Sheriff's Office. Make sure to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to make it back to the training room before class starts as all attendees must be escorted back.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please bring your printed or e-ticket.
What should I wear?
This is an interactive class so you should wear loose jeans, sweatpants, or shorts, a t-shirt and tennis shoes.
You are entering a secure law enforcement facility please leave all guns in the trunk of your car.
