The River District Alliance (RDA) announces the annual family friendly Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve Celebration in the historic Downtown Fort Myers River District on Thursday, December 31, beginning at 8:00 pm.
Included this year will be five stages of live music and DJ’s, including: Hypnoticals, Vinyl Countdown, Marty Stokes, Smack Daddy, KROC & The Link, B103, 99.3 ESPN, and Sunny 106. New this year will be the Junior Balloon Drop at 9:00 pm. Fireworks on the river and Ball Drop at Midnight!
Event begins at 8 pm in the historic Downtown Fort Myers River District and is free to the public. Junior Balloon Drop at First & Hendry Streets, Ball Drop at the Hendry Street Median, and Fireworks on the River!
