Charley’s opened January 31, 1974 as Charley Brown’s and was renamed Charley’s Boathouse Grill on May 1, 2002. Renovations were completed in November 2019 to add on the titular feature that pushed Charley's to Charley's Boat House Grill & Wine Bar.

Charley’s was born out of the desire to offer Fort Myers Beach an exquisite steakhouse, featuring an extensive, 55-item salad bar. Eventually, a variety of fresh, local seafood and an award-winning wine list were added to create the diverse offerings we love to share with locals and visitors, alike.

We had the baked brie (delicious), 10 oz Ribeye, & the baby back ribs and I couldn't be happier with our choices. Everything was perfectly prepared and served with style.
